hey James, when you say small stakes players are 3betting with incorrect frequency and range, can you elaborate on that? Do you mean a polarized instead of merged? What % of 3bet do you think is too wide in the cutoff and button against a player like you? what about in the blinds vs your steals?

Thanks!

Well it seemed like the players at lower stakes seem to 3bet badly. Some players 3bet too much, some too little, and the types of hands in their ranges are pretty much constant no matter who they are 3betting. Against some players you should have a polarized 3betting range and against some you should have a more balanced range. At the higher stake games, a lot of the players realize this and their 3betting frequencies are hard to exploit

Yeah I hear where your coming from. It is a broad topic and pretty much would need a video dedicated to it since it would take so long to cover everything and I didnt really want to start getting into it at that time in the video or in the reply. There isnt really a set 3betting % I can give out because it depends who's on your table which also reflects what limits your playing at, so its more of a theory type of explanation on how to do it best which is pretty deep stuff...

I think there's also different approaches to 3betting, some players like to keep doing it until their opponent starts to play back / get fed up and there's also the approach where you lean on your opponent but slow down at certain points so that they dont start playing back at you.

I thought someone at leggo said they were puttin out a 3betting video so I'll look into it and see whats up
