Re: JamesMa - Hand Analysis
K62ss6 board with my 24ss HU. He's checkraised and fired the turn. Now my options are to call or to raise as folding is bad given the odds laid to us and his range which consists of air, flush draws, strong Kx, and 6x possibly but unlikely. Getting money in vs flush draws is good, Kx and 6x not so good but we have decent equity so it really comes down to how often he's going to have air which I felt was a pretty good portion of the time given the board is pretty dry. Vs air, I think calling and having a chance for him to improve better than us and check it down kinda sucks, and if he has a flush draw that misses we probably dont get paid off, if he jams an ace river its a really shitty spot as with a lot of blanks even.
I think raising the turn in his eyes will look pretty drawish or full of shit since if I had a Kx or 6x I'd almost always be flatting that turn in his mind so that his air could keep barreling and his Kx can go for thin value or w/e. So he may rejam with some of his ace highs for value or even spew out. I'm obviously not expecting him to spew a large amount of the time but compounded with the fact I can get value from flush draws w/o a pair and protect my hand from his air, I like a raise on the turn
