nice vid. the hand where you flat funkii's 3b on the btn with k9ss, flop comes JJTss and you shove over his flop lead: how do you think funkii should have played AK or AQ there? is check-calling the flop viable?

i think he should check almost his whole range on that flop (maybe bet his absolute trash) and CRAI with AK AQ KQ but also AA KK QQ Jx TT etc

i think if he check-calls he ends up losing to hands that would have folded to CRAI too often

great vid, imo u make the most articulate tourny vids in industry, I might be wrong but i dont see u playing SC much 45 67 23. is that simply due to the short stack nature of tournys? even early when ur deeper i cant remember seeing u play them (might just be sample size)

yeah i will sometimes flat good suited connectors in position in the early stages or obviously open them from late position, but seeing as it's full ring and the stacks get short relatively quickly there aren't anywhere near as many situations where you'll find yourself playing SC as there are in 6 handed cashgames

pretty obvious why suited connectors aren't very good with shorter stacks - they don't perform well allin preflop, and there's much less potential reward for flopping/making the nuts postflop
