33min in, you flat 99 on btn vs utg open. is it a good idea to bet turn when villian checks to us since it will include more strong hands in our range compared to when we checks back turn and bets river. we also get more money out of TT-JJ.

I think it's fine to bet the turn, but you have to consider some consequences if we're betting the turn, because I assume you want to bet the river too. Our range does stay nutted, but it also becomes more polarized. He might think that our range for betting turn and river is pretty thin, and our 'floating' range relatively large and therefor call us down lighter than we want him too.

In general I think it's almost the same in EV though. Wanting someone to call on the turn and fold the river is always interesting.

This might be pretty basic, but when you 3bet JJ in the sb vs the co open from an unknown (~5min), are you going to 5bet jam if he 4bets?

Yep. I don't know what limits you play, but for 400nl I think that's fine.

If I'm up against a tight player who I'm uncomfortable with getting it in preflop, I'll just flat his open and play some poker

[edit]
It also depends on your 3betting frequencies, the lower it is, the less likely you should be getting this in
