$1k Venetian deepstack sweat There were no WSOP events I wanted to play today, so I played a $1k tourney at the Venetian. We started with like 300bbs and hour long levels, so there was a ton of play.
After playing like 13 hours today, 26 are left and I have a good stack (I have 175k and the average is 130k). The field started with 233 players. Blinds are 2k/4k (500 ante) so I have a fair amount of room. My table is pretty tough though.
My luckbox has been pretty off and on so far. I won QQ > AA all-in on a T62r flop for a nice pot. I also won AQs > AQs pf. Unfortunately, towards the end of the day I lost a lot with 88 < 77, had my 88 held I would have a solid chiplead.
First place is like $70k, 18 make the money. Day 2 starts at 4pm tomorrow (Monday). I imagine it will last well into the evening.
I'll be wearing a Leggo hat if you want to drop by, hopefully I take it down. |
