PROTECT YOURSELF - READ THIS FIRST!
This forum is meant to be a general gathering for Vegas-goers this summer, or anyone who just wants to hang out, learn about some of the things going on, gossip, etc. However, these forums are open to the public and you must take this fact into consideration at all times!
DO NOT give out things like your address/where you are staying, where you will be visiting outside of the strip (ie, to your friends' houses). It's not your friends that you care about finding out - it's random lurkers, or people on the strip who overhear your conversation and decide to show up with a gun later at your house because you just shipped $50k today.
Have a good place to put your money. This means not under your bed, and probably not in your house. Keep it at a casino in a safe or a bank somewhere. Again, if you don't have the money on your or around you, it can't be stolen.
Do not be naive. Don't think that all 2p2ers are cool and wouldn't ever take your money. Poker players tend to be very very overtrusting and I don't want to see anyone get hurt from this.
This is everything I can think of off the top of my head. If anyone has a safety tip to add post it in this thread and I will add it.
