Default Staking Applications for WSOP '08

***EDIT: Read the bottom of the post for idea about cash game staking***

Hello All,

Completely independent from Leggo Poker LLC, I have decided to consider applicants to be staked for tournaments this year (again, for emphasis, from only me - unaffiliated with Leggo). Understand that I will be extremely selective, and scrutinize everything.

If you want to be considered, please post in this thread AND email me (mynameizgreg /at/ leggopoker.com).

WARNING: If you post/apply as a joke I will ban you. These are serious applications only, and you MUST include all of the criteria below. I am doing this for the sake of opportunity (for myself and for others) and I do not want my time wasted when I could be giving fair consideration to legitimate candidates instead. Please respect this wish.

You must include in your application (which should be emailed to me):
-Name
-Where you live
-When you will be in Vegas
-What events you want to apply to be staked for
-Written reasons why you should be staked
-At least three references of players I can contact to vouch for you (they have to be legitimate references, at least semi-known/accountable players, not your three roommates)
-Your tournament history
-Your cash game history
-Live poker experience
-General Poker History/Story
-Why you do not wish to enter the tournament using your own money.

If you cannot meet all of these requirements, and there is not some extenuating circumstance, kindly do not apply.

Also note that you must be willing to wear LeggoPoker gear during the entire length of the tournament, and understand that you will have to sign a binding contract beforehand.

I will read over all applications, and give you an answer. If you have applied and have not heard back from me in a week, please send me another email and yell at my for not getting back to you .

Let me know if you have any questions.

***EDIT: Cash game staking: I have decided to consider individuals for cash game staking as well. The criteria will remain the exact same as above, but substitute the limits you would like to play (and where), and including your tournament experience is not necessary (unless you think it would look positive). Your live poker experience is, however, important.

Any interest in staking for cash games? Maybe 20-30% at 5/10 or something.

If there is any interest I can outline my live experience and so on.

Hey, Greg. Emailed you through the form in your profile, but that page gave some kind of error, so i just emailed you through my regular email to "mynameizgreg /at/ leggopoker.com).

Looking for a cash game stake and i think it could be an awesome deal for the both of us. Let me know what do you think, when you get to my email.

Greg, since it looks like you got extra cash at hand, would you consider giving cash vs online money + decent vig?

BWD,

the /at/ is actually a @ symbol. It's a normal email address .

Party Lurker,

depends on the % of vig. PM me what you had in mind because honestly it's not worth it to bring the extra cash if it's not super high =(
