Quick question on registering for event

I'll be in vegas on Thur. June 11th and playing in the 1500 event on saturday the 13th, should I go to the RIO a day early and sign up or will it not be a problem getting into that event on the day of?

i would register early a few events have sold out already, a low-buyin on a saturday has a decent chance of selling out
