- Started off playing poker with a few friends at unviersity, we went a few times to the local casino and didnt fare too well. Lost some money online over the next 6months, usually playing much too high and a lot of the time while being drunk. Stopped playing for about 6months but still watched a lot of shows that were on the tv at the time. Decided to give the casino another go and went on a sick heater for 2-3months where i won about twice a week out of the 3-4 i would go, even though looking back all i did was play tight and let people give me there chips. Fell out of tournaments straight into live cash where i did ok but played ridiculously nitty. Then got talking to a few of the younger guys who were playing in the games who played online for living and just came in to have a laugh while drinking. About june 2009 went back to playing online, starting off for a month at 25nl 6-max before moving to 50/100nl hu. Started to watch a lot of poker training videos, read books and basically try to learn as much as i could. Did very well in the games but seemed to just withdraw half of my roll anytime it got above 6k to fund my (unhealthy) lifestyle. Then decided to stop playing hu as i was tilting like a maniac, something i never do live, everytime i would lose a pot and had started to not play well. Started again on pokerstars with a roll of 1k playing 50nl 6max with the aim of building a big enough roll that so when i head to vegas in the summer i'm not counting on my mates to take % of my action. At the moment i'm finding the games quite soft, winning at about 4.5bb/100 over 40k hands and planning on moving up to 100nl pretty soon
