- Walked in to my local bar about a year ago played a nl tournament for $20 and came first and won $500. Thought this is easy. I remember ringing my buddy on the way to the game as I knew he played a lot and said to him. "I think I know how to play but can you explain this big blind, small blind thing." Like a heroin addict after his first shot I knew my fate was sealed that night to pursue this addiction, obsession till my dying days.
Hit the online scene and blah, blah,blah..Discovered aejones on pokerstars podcast and knew this guy can teach me how to play.
