Just to be a complete nitpicker, u mention in the video that folding is +ev but folding is always 0 or neutral ev. I think what you meant was that folding is less -ev than calling...

Regardless, many thanks for the analysis!!
I'm glad you liked the analysis :D I thought it was a pretty interesting hand ;)
You're correct on my misspeak on the terminology. I'll make sure to get it 100% spot on in the future. Hopefully though everyone will understand what I was trying to say.
summary: "folding > calling...but tbh I probably call in the heat of the moment" ;)

Hahah well nobody is perfect, not even me! ;)
Im sure everyone got it, I just wanted to make sure I was right about that, cause I had read that somewhere.
First of all thanks a lot for what you are doing in general and the effort you put. Really appreciated.
Hahaha np with the nick. Shin sound nice also. Btw shinigammi is the death of god. I am an Anime fun, lol
As for the hand I don't have questions. You explained everything really good. I tanked for ever and I folded it, so no results :)
If I had donk bet the flop , bet the turn, and the river and the fish raise again it would be easiest to fold right ? If it was the reg instead the fish ?Still a fold ?
Depends on reg I guess, but at this limit they are prob not creative enough to turn made hand into a bluff, so I think still a fold. (I play same limit, so don't trust me).
Yeah I still agree even more strongly than rika that river is a fold but even I have to admit that I can't hate a call. I like how shin (hero) played the hand after flop checked through but the biggest thing in this hand for me is that I always lead flop with a loose passive 3-way here because it's way easier to get money in oop when you take the reigns. Even if the regular c-bets too much you have to call flop and then it's kind of weird if you want to start leading the turn after calling flop, but given that pfr doesn't cbet a lot anyways it makes flop lead best.
Also rika doesn't give himself enough credit for being able to find a fold on river. I recall him folding a set on the flop in one of his videos. =P

If you bet/bet/bet and the fish raised the river I do think it's an "easier" fold. (because you showed so much more strength)
Even vs. a reg. Unless I think he's capable of turning made hands into bluffs (which is probably rare at these stakes) folding is correct imo.

Nice analysis, I agree with everything you said Riza. One thing I'm still trying to work into my game is what range to take the lead with. For the reasons you mentioned taking the lead with a set is good in this spot, so we can say that we'd donk out with 88 and 55. Would you also include flush draws, TPGK hands such as KQ, or total air in your donking range in this spot?
