Mirza continues to review a $200 NL 6-Max session played by Leggo member "mindinabox" on 4 deep/ante tables on Stars. He talks about the importance of 3-betting IP with deep stacks and how hand reading becomes even more important as people have much more leverage than with 100bbs.
''KQs is a very nice 3-bet spot''. Can you maybe explain why?
32:20 table 1
Can you call Q6s pre vs that minopen? Do you think 3-betting is better than calling? Does this change 100bb deep?
Good video
Because u wanna be 3betting these suited hands when u are deep and if u were too choose a hand to 3bet oop this one would be very good since it can connect with so many boards and make some good top pairs as well.U dont wanna 3bet too many off suit broadways oop or too much oop in general deep.
No I think we should almost always call given the pot odds we r getting with the added antes, it makes it an easy defend for us.U shouldnt 3bet these sort of unconnected hands oop deep, its only gonna put u in bad spots.
on 14:01 you said that you are welcome this 3bet with A7o. Would you prefer another hand because A7o OOP and this deep he can call us with a lot of hands and it will be diffult to play vs a reg. Also this hand doesn't flop well so we will be in weird spots. What do you think about that ?

Would you mind explain a bit more the hand with the QQ that we got raised on the flop. Not used for you to not analyse in depth a hand :). Also OTR if the villain would bet do we call ?
Also I notice that hero didn't 4bet at all. What do you think as a strategy to 4bet in deep tables ?
Cool hand the AJ. I am still not sure about the c/jam or river. We have to consider three factors imo. One if he is ever value bet thin, two pairs and sets.Second if he thinks that we are capable to bluff in that spot. And third if the villain is capable of think that analysis you made. That we don't have almost no flush and probably we will call with Tx. So if the villain conclude to the fact that we don't have flushes and probably we would call with Tx then he can call also with two pairs and sets. So when we are the hero it would be a good play to c/r with Tx ? . I am confusing you eh ? :)

Forget it. I thought it was sb vs btn and not bb vs sb.

I was kinda worried about it since villain was playing so passively , but that being said it is a spot that u ll get raised a ton on especially with deep stacks. Its usually a situation where u call flop and almost all turns and reevaluate river imo.I expect alot of villains to playing pretty honest when all the draws brick so i would have folded here.As u saw villain did end up giving up so that makes me pretty confident about those assumptions.

No , ur questions are very clear, I dont see a reason for us to ch jam 10x since I dont expect that many villains to bet call sets or 2 pair in this spot.I know i said that I didnt like it since we never have a flush in this spot but its prolly hard for most of the nl200 regs to come to this conclusion in game.
For that reason I think we should just call with 10x.We can only guess wether villain valuebets 2pair plus or not , the more he does the better it becomes but as i stated we cant really have what we r repping and he s way more likely to have it than we are, so I would just fold the river.
The AJ hand - given that we almost never x/jam Tx here and our value range consists of QTdd and T9dd only, wouldn't it be fine for villain to call here with AQ with Qd? Infact, given that our range is so super polarised, couldn't villain call with any hand that chose to valuebet?

Yewp I agree he should bet/call anything he vbets here but at the same time u gotta be aware of the fact that some peoples bluffing freq is gonna be 0 here. But we certainly on rep 2 combos, so given the prize we r getting on the river it becomes a pretty trivial call. I liked villains sizing on the river in this hand range wise as well.
