nice vid.12 min the 88 hand you say his line with qq is standard.I would consider check-folding river in that spot.hard to see what worse will call him.comments? |

Would you mind going more indepth to your thought process on the T8s hand where you 3bet, around 8:50 in the video. I'm almost always 2nd barreling this on the turn or maybe sometimes even check shoving, but never really check calling. Is it a big factor to your play if youre not really sure if hes folding hands like 99-TT on the turn or the river (if even then)? I would assume this would make you more likely to check call the turn? |

Looking at it again it is pretty close between check/fold and shove, although I slightly still prefer a shove button vs bb, although I do think that most regs probably won't turn weak pairs into bluffs there.
I think it is reasonable to expect a decent amount of herocalls when so much of my river range is 66, 99, TT, 76s, 98s, A8s type of hands and he gets to the river with a decent amount of bluffs. |

Turn is tricky and you can kind of play this type of hand multiple ways. Check shove is OK with these stacks, but I think c/c is superior because if he is betting 99+ he is always bet/calling with two flush draws and the turn card giving a lot of his range extra incentive to check back (more straight draws). 3 barreling (and b/c turn) is OK on a lot of rivers but we have some showdown value and if he folds turn with 99/TT then 3 barreling isn't going to be very good.
I guess biggest downside to c/cing is that it kind of turns our hand faceup since he will expect us to barrel our strong made hands a lot on this board, but it pot controls nicely versus stronger hands and gets a bet out of floats a lot of the time. I think 3 barrel and c/c turn are the best lines here. |

People play these spots pretty straightforwardly, so mostly betting flop and c/fing turn, not expecting him to float flop with worse than KJ often or turning small pairs into a bluff on that turn. Seems kind of strange, but c/cing flop is really hard to balance and turns into a real guessing game where you are very likely unbalanced. |

Sorry everyone that the audio quality in the second half of the video isn't as good as the first half. I got a new computer for the second part. Next video will have the audio back to normal. |

ok cool, i guess a more interesting and more common situation: How do things play out differently on A87r or A87ss will you sometimes check/call the turn? Bet flop and turn? Still ck/fold Turn? I find these spots difficult because i've started with such a premium hand but i find myself ck/folding a ton on the turn after going for value on the flop.
I agree that ck/calling flop is tough to balance |

How old are u? Do u ever get into a fight? Do u ever tilt? Just got curious after u giving life advice again and to me it seems u don't often do dumb things.
I know it's not really about the video, but what the hell :p |

You can consider betting turn or c/cing turn but it kind of depends on your reads. Sorry to not be more specific, but it is a very general type of question. Once the flop comes bad try and forget you once had a premium hand ;) |

26. Physical fights? No. Regular fights with friends and the gf, but I've always been a fairly calm person.
I rarely tilt while playing. I've been playing full-time for 3 years so I have to work at it a bit to keep things fresh. That said, playing poker as a full-time job has been pretty great to me. |
