This video is a review of some of the "small pot but important to the winrate" hands that Jared has played over the past 3 months. He covers topics from bluff raising c-bets, inducing bluffs, and ways to improve your play away from the table.

ukpokerman1 Regarding the first 2 hands where you bluff raise drawy flop with 33 and 77; wouldn't you rather do it with say Ax, so that you have more outs if called and have blockers to AK? or are you saying that the situation is so profitable that our hand doesn't matter at all?

At present I try and avoid making these moves with med pairs and prefer to do it when I've got higher cards or blockers, and by folding what I consider to be the worst hands to do it with I keep my raise c-bet number reasonably in check. Is your raise cbet number really high?

I agree 100% that doing it with blockers is even better (or Ax for more outs, etc.) But you're spot on that I think both spots are profitable, blockers just makes it even more profitable. It's like 4 bet bluffing. I prefer having Ax or Kx for card removal, but I'll still 4 bet bluff if I think the situation is profitable enough.

My raise c-bet is certainly higher then an "average" player. But as long as I'm choosy on who I do it against, I've found I rarely get played back at. (there's even a fold to raise after c-bet stat in pt4)
RikaKazak To find the stat if you have default layout, click on the hud so that the big pop up with all the stats comes up. Under "tools", it's the stat on the bottom left of the pop up.

ukpokerman1 Thanks. Makes sense.

I have the fold to raise stat on my HUD and use it to decide who to bluff raise. I look for anything over 60% as being a good candidate to do it against. If 50-60% I'd want some equity or blockers and under 50% I would avoid without decent equity. Does this sound about right to you?
LWRC4WROL It would be really cool if you made a video series in which you go through some hands that you played on Bovada vs weaker players and then show us their holdings in spots that we would otherwise have no idea what they actually had. Obviously, you can't exactly replay the hands in PT4 but maybe you can construct some replays the way that aejones did in his 3betting vids. I understand that this would be a tough video to produce. But it would be a really really cool video.

I don't have a "specific" % that I need for me to make the play. But you're certainly on the right track with those stats imo.
