this is definitely the longest a video of mine has ever gone without a comment
i noticed this as well.
these have been really interesting videos, but you are playing so far off the norm it's difficult to know what to make of it. it seems to me that you started on the defensive and it seems strange to use the no 3b strategy as a defualt.
have you tried this much vs other regs? do you think you had an edge on him in the match?

i have played like this for long stretches against other people, yes
around 18min K8 bottom left on QJ10cQc9. you bet most of pot after commentating that you should possibly bet 1/2 pot. As you bet it you say he probably just has the same hand and you are right. I was wondering if you think there is any merit to check shoving because he can't have AK since he didn't bet-3bet the flop and how often does he have a boat when the turn goes check check. You prob get looked up by Qx (although maybe he doesn't check that on the turn much either) and he might bluffing river with clubs. I guess my thought is that there is a few combos of hands you could possibly get more value from, there is not a lot of combos that you miss value from, and there is the outside possibility that he hero folds a chop.

there is some merit to check-shoving but i think he has quite a few boat combos in his range (i don't think any of his two pair hands b3b the flop, i don't necessarily think any of them bet the turn either since im usually completely giving up once i check the turn, he could also have 99 maaaaaaybe but prob not or q9) so it's dicey. in this case i'd be more worried about a boat than AK obv... i think it'd be okay, and i do think he'd bet-fold Kx almost always (with him almost never bet-calling it tbh, but he might just check it back).
regardless, i do think my line kinda sucks on the river. meh, sometimes i don't play perfectly.
favorite line: I leaned towards folding, but I called --- story of my life.
If you perfect this style and fold in spots like that (its the spot you valuebet river with QT on K78Q6...sure he can be bluffing some % of time and you have blockers to T9). Dont understand why these videos arent popular but this style will catch on sooner or later. when people see hands like that you gotta understand that its a v small target market that this video actually appeals to :).
even with some mistakes I see (mostly you being a station in spots you arent giving up that much in actual hu game conditions by folding), I already see an edge you have over this guy. Fix some of these mistakes and you are printing. Aka fold the turn w/ JJ in beg. of video where board is like AKxxQ and you flated pre. You considered calling the river, kind of wanted you too because that would of been sick and you did already make a light peel on the turn. awesome video and I got 15 mins left.
Made some notes when I initially watched it aejones, then messed with flopzilla today :P

First hand of video, you call Q4o to minraise and only decision is when you face $18 into $24 on river on a board of Ks Th 3d 7h 5d. Assuming klink is opening 100% of btns. Not value betting ace high. We need to be good 30% of time, and its close :).

@6:20. You call AdQs to a minraise. Flop comes Jc Td 4h, you cc 18. Turn Jd, you cc 44. River Kc, chk chk.
I think I like this hand (pairs are hard to flop, almost have nut ace high lol) despite not liking it at first. I do like your style of keeping your flop cc range a lot stronger and deceptive. Just sorta dislike the fact that klink can bet his on this turn and happily check these on the river. I think when we do hit our hand he is checking back all his weak pairs and not that likely to bet a hand like missed diamonds or 89 ...so do you still like the river plan in hindsight? Leading is random and seems hard to balance. We are protecting our range of by playing it this way and being able to cr rivers and stopping him from vbetting light in future spots.

@9:00. You call Jd5d to minraise, flop comes 6s 5c 3d. You cc 18. Turn 8s, chk chk. River 2h, chk, he bets 48, you?
How about leading this river yourself? Seems kind of weird as J5dd here should have a ton of sd but you can maybe fold out better fives, 6x, and you just have best hand a high % of time as his ability to have a calling range is pretty small (and when he does have it you might be paying off a bet anyway).
As played...I think you made a good fold, but it certainly is close. Mainly because I dont think he happily barrels all his 4x combos on this turn (while he does have a straight draw, hes gotta somewhat question his fe). Its an unconvential spot for him to bluff and even though I think on paper it looks like a call, game flow wise its probably a good fold vs midstake regs.
thanks for that mootang, that's cool. i would say that i think there are some random hands that he should always play one way, or always play another way, or whatever that would change his range a bit.
wtf i feel like i'm watching a couple of donks play ... you call like 100% oop and this guy doesn't start 4x or 5x'ing the btn? ... i don't get the point of showing this.
