With his recent success in the new $400 NL Full Ring rush games on Full Tilt Dan fires up 4 tables and trucks his opponents (pun intended). Dan discusses playing BvB, 3-betting, c-betting and hand ranges.
To answer your question andree: I just have a hunch that it is correct in these games. If I were playing .10/.25 I would just bet smaller with air and bigger with good hands b/c I imagine it doesnt change their calling %s much so i can just get more money in the pot.
vs stronger opponents you can't get away with that so I choose to bet a relatively constant amount (depending obviously on stack sizes, board textures etc). Betting bigger gets more money in pot (which is good if im gonna be barreling either as a bluff or for value) and can discourage action right away .
That said whether your typical cbet size was 60% or 3/4th pot as the PFR I doubt it would change your winrate all that much.
